Christ's S.O.S Outreach, Inc. is a community outreach center located in Citra, Florida. Serving Citra and the surrounding towns, which are located in the rural area of Central Florida. We are located between Ocala and Gainesville,(Go Gators) Florida. We were a shelter for homeless women and children but due to budget cuts we had to close that part of the outreach. We now help the community with free clothes, food, internet access, referrals to other local and state help agencies and programs. 
 
We take donations of all kinds and sell them at our on-site thrift store, up to now we have been funded only by sales at the store. We have had some private one-time donations from members of the Ocala community. However, it takes money to do good in this world and we are a small organization because of lack of funding.We are looking to grow so if you have a heart for this type of outreach please contact us.

  • We have changed our business hours to 10am to 3pm.
  • We are starting the Christmas toy drive, please donate a new toy or funds towards that program.
  • We are also in need of funds to fix our box truck, as we may go mobile next year.
  • We are in need of school supplies for the local area kids.
